 American customs you like/dislike

Halloween is just around the corner and I'm really looking forward to it, it's my favourite American custom after all. The candy, the costumes, the films... I love it all! Even the rainy weather that Halloween always seems to summon. 

On the other hand, I despise Thanksgiving Day. Even though I love family dinners, I find reuniting to celebrate the genocide of inocent families kind of messed up. I mean, why would you celebrate something so cruel? That's not ok! 

Anyway, I don't really mind American customs, but I do admit that I love Halloween.

 Descriptive paragraph Brainstorming 1 Depressing, crouded, covid, empty, dark  Brainstorming 2 -Why do you feel that way? Because the picture is dark itself and it makes me remember sad moments, even if I have never been there. -How is the feeling?
