Being on time

 Being on time

This Summer I started getting into true crime documentaries. They are really interesting, perhaps a little bit graphic, however, it surely does draw anyone's attention.

The thing is, the more documentaries I watch, the more I realize a lot of murder cases would have been avoided if people were on time. Not only the police, but also family members, co-workers and, sometimes, even the victim.

A perfect example of this is the murder of Jane Clough. Jane was an 26 year old nurse working at the Blackpool's Victoria Hospital when she was murdered. She was late to work only by a few minutes and everyone was already inside. Her exhusband and abuser, Jonathan Bass, was following Jane and took advantage of  the situation. In a matter of minutes, Jane Clough was stabbed 71 times. Perhaps, if someone waited for her or if she had been in time for work, she would be alive today.
